An exchange-traded fund (ETF) is an investment fund traded on stock exchanges, much like stocks. An ETF holds assets such as stocks, commodities, or bonds and generally operates with an arbitrage mechanism designed to keep it trading close to its net asset value, although deviations can occasionally occur.
AGinvest does not provide an ETF option for investors. ETF’s provide instant liquidity for investors but in many cases generates far less investment yield. Owning Farmland is a long term decision (5+ years) At AGinvest we believe that farmland ownership and the many benefits that come from owning farmland take time. Our investment strategy is to buy the best farmland correctly, optimize that farmland and then work with progressive growers to protect the long term health and production capacity of the farmland.
